What is HDRi
Technology High Dynamic Range Image (HDRI) this image with the expanded dynamic range due to transition from integer definition of luminance of pixel to material. That is the image is described by real physical sizes of luminance and color.
In other words, if real picture levels of two pixels differ on size twice also their descriptions in a file, also should differ twice.
This all sounds difficultly, but as a matter of fact is very simple: in a picture each point can practically receive any value of luminance and already there is no limiting from a format of a file on luminance of the brightest and most dark point.
